The RockFLEET's Iridium/GPS and optional GSM antennas located on the top ‘domed’ part of your casing. That's why, to ensure a good satellite signal, the RockFLEET should be upright, with a clear line of sight of the sky.

The typical mounting position for the RockFLEET is on a dashboard or rear window of a car or mounted on a pole or rail. Examples of obstructions include a heavily wooded area or inside a vehicle or building.
Once switched on, your device will try to obtain a GPS signal. The time taken to obtain a signal will vary from few minutes, when the device has never been used or not been used for a while, to a few seconds when the device is regularly used.

The RockFLEET comes with two available mounting options - a standard Deck Mount and an ROKK mount.
