New menu structure!

FW 03.14.00+ features a new menu structure which is intended to improve usability, grouping advanced settings within their respective categories. For example, Advanced menu items related to tracking can now be found under the Tracking>Advanced menu.

The RockSTAR / YB3 handheld tracker is equipped with a screen and keypad which allows the user to access and interact with all direct-to-device messaging features, tracker configuration, alert functions and other more advanced tracker settings.

The menu is navigated using the OK, UP, DOWN and LEFT keys. Text input section screens will also utilise the RIGHT key, but this is not used for menu navigation.

From the home screen of an active device, press the OK key to enter the main menu. Navigate up and down the menu options using the UP and DOWN keys, press OK to enter a sub-menu or select an option. Pressing LEFT once will go back one step in the menu, pressing left repeatedly will continue to go back through the menu all the way to the home screen.

Messages

The RockSTAR / YB3 integrated menu system allows for a full range of messaging options like Preset/Freetext messaging and basic contact management. For more information on how to use the RockCONNECT or YB Connect apps to exchange messages, visit the CONNECT App chapter for more information.

Tracking

General information about tracking options can be found here.

Start Measurement

The Odometer feature was introduced in FW v03.13.00.

This feature is only available for RockSTAR logo devices.

Alerts

General information about Alerts can be found here.

Settings

All device settings can be changed within this menu.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth can be enabled/disabled.

Waypoints

For CORE/API users, waypoints can be sent and reviewed.

Send Alert Cancel

Cancel an alert and take a tracker out of 'EMEGENCY MODE'. See Alerts.

Deactivation

Turn the tracker off completely.
